Gabriela's life was always related to textiles. Even since her childhood she learnt through her dressmaker grandmother about canvas's behaviour.
Later, she studied interior design at Segui Institute.
That's why it can be said that Gabriela's production is all about the essence of art.
It's about conjuring chaos and uncertainty, pointing out esthetics and the cognitive and repairing functions as well as resilience all of which give us a great sensation of satisfaction and reward.
Colour and brushstroke both reveal a strong character as well as a sanguinous sensitivity covered with an esquisite mystic halo.

2019 - Invited by the Uruguayan Embassy in Beijing, she travels to China with her latest work “Mission” (soul of wine).
There she exhibits with great success in the “Tannat week”.
She currently exhibits her work in Las Pampas Hotel (Daxing, Beijing).
Her work was officially endorsed by the Culture Minister of Uruguay, the Wine Institute, Tourism Ministry and Florida Department Municipality.
Nowadays, part of her work is exhibited at 4 Points by Sheraton Hotel (Montevideo).
Also she's been exposing in Office Punta for three years (Punta del Este).
2017-2018
Exhibition in Aloft Hotel according to the hotel profile.
Individual exhibition “Abstract moments” (soul of wine) in Women's Homage in Collectors Gallery (BA) where she paints live.
She's invited to exhibit in “Jew People Homage” and in the double mega conference “The secret of wealth” “To laugh seriously” in Grand Hotel.
Her work “Protection” is chosen to stay in the Breit Jabad Temple (Almagro Abasto BA) as part of a collection which will be exhibited for a long period of time.
2016
Her work Jabad (of the Jew People Homage series) is exhibited in the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel. (Montevideo).
She paints live her work “Soul of wine” in Jacksonville staying in the permanent ZONAMERICA collection.
She exhibits for the first time in Maldonado department with her work “Natural fury” (art to see and feel) in La Ballena expo together with the accessibility programme of the Maldonado Municipality.
Paints live in the event “Green Path” a sustaintability event.

2019 - Because of the commemoration of the 60 years of Parliamentary Relationships between China and Uruguay, one of her works was chosen to participate in “Art of Uruguay” a space opened by the Minister of Education and Culture María Julia Muñoz.
The event took place in the space Rong Space- Raycom Park Infotech – Beijing, curated by Xie Jingjing among 26 other Uruguayan artists.

Autodidacta, su vida siempre estuvo ligada a los textiles. Desde su infancia, aprendió el comportamiento en sus lienzos, a través de su tía abuela, que era modista; y en la madurez, estudió Diseño de Interiores en el Instituto Segui.
En este sentido, podemos afirmar que la producción de Gabriela rescata la esencia primigenia del arte. Conjurar el caos y la incertidumbre, ensalzando la estética y potenciando la función cognitiva y reparadora; además de la de resiliencia, dejándonos así una mayor sensación de satisfacción y recompensa.
La expresión del color y la pincelada revelan una impronta de carácter fuerte, pero a su vez, que denota una sensibilidad sanguínea cubierta de un halo místico alrededor exquisito.
